beneath the stars
i sat
in boundless
glory
taking in
the expansion
the darkness
almost, terrifying

the hours crept
and sleep came softly
with the breeze, dreams began
to wash over me
causing
submission

anything
can
happen

death
destiny
it's all the same, really,
and it's up to us
to accept it
completely

sprawled out
beneath the
abyss
refusal was non existent
there is only

this

and this is
