and in those moments where
everything changes
we need another
to bare us witness
for without them we would wander
unable to distinguish
the difference
for presence causes awareness
it allows us the chance to take that which is intangible
and turn it into something we can
grab
taste
see
touch
without
the other
we would never know
if what we experience is real
or just a figment
of our hearts
