the biggest mistake
we can ever make
is to deny some one
the chance
to love us
for love is the energy that heals us
and the need to express it is truly a call for help
for what we share is what we hope to receive in return
humbled we are in this process of delicate expression
for the steps can crumble so easily beneath us
shattered is the result too many have experienced
and the fear and hesitation that results from this
well, it can be devastating
the lesson then is not only to express love, always
but, more importantly, to be able to receive it.
