truth

and sometimes life throws us curveballs
and how we think it should go,
feel it should go,
isn't exactly what happens.
and the heart break that comes
from, losing,
can sometimes be so great
it snatches us up
to a place of : darkness

but, if we can remain, open
accepting
to the challenges life brings us
we witness, slowly, the unfolding
of these beautiful experiences.
For it does not lie in the gain,
nor in the possession, but rather,
in the perception,
the realization that each moment is,
in fact,
only, temporary
and can only be used for one thing :
learning

with growing as our objective
we harness : compassion
not only for others but, most importantly,
for our self
for in life we will always stumble
and even, in moments, crumble
to something unrecognizeable

and this is where we learn : patience
for only time can show us
who we truly
are

and then, only then, will we be able
honestly and truly
to realize
to actualize
our greatest purpose
in this
life

and that is where we'll find
the fulfillment
we've yearned for
for so long
